Visited in 1996, 1998, in june 2010 and 2011. Last time we asked them to compose a menu from their 'classics'. Highlight was the Poularde de Bresse al la vapeur de champagne, served in two courses.

Wonderful experience in Juan Amador's restaurant in Langen (Hessen, Germany), of one of the most creative chefs in Europe. An almost endless series of spectacular surprises. Visited in december 2009.

Restaurant near the famous Roman bridge in Vaison la Romaine (Provence, France). The first time ever we thought Michelin must be out of its mind. Terrible! Visited in june 2009.

Bistrot d'Eygalieres "Chez Bru" (2 Michelin stars)
Charming restaurant in Eygalieres, a small village near St. Remy de Provence, France, run by a Flemish couple. Visited in june 2009. And in june 2010 in their new 'maison' 2 miles outside of the village. Slightly dissapointing. No surprises.

Hotel-restaurant in Dreis-Wittlich (southern Eifel, Germany). Very traditional, very high quality in all its details. Visited in may 2009 (and in 1994 when they still had two stars).

On Scheveningen's Seinpost dune, where Mesdag painted his panorama. Visited in May 2007, May 2008 and May 2009, may and july 2010). Very dear address (since Savelberg was patron in the eighties). Michelin should award them a second star.

One of France's great dynasties in Illhaeusern (Alsace). The fourth generation at work. Three Michelin stars since the sixties of last century. Visited in june 2007.
